We used this machine with real nespresso capsules. Click for 2 seconds to heat the water before pressing through the coffee, or click twice if the used water is already hot. Was quite simple. The first coffee was good but not that warm because the cold filter had absobed a lot of the heat of the hot water. The second was hotter and better. Ideally, let 1 cop of hot water without coffee be pressed through the filter to warm up the filter first. In short, quite good coffee achievable, and even hot, if this trick is used. We are quite happy and will use it on our next trip through France.. 1 star more would be given if the first coffee would have been hot already..
